TFS:8 - 50% Update





Whoaa I'm already that late.
Sorry for the waiting guys, I know it's only monday night, but just coming back from a crazy nightout...so I'll be brief.

 As stated in my last comment, I've fortunately been able to retrieve all the files from my dying HDD, so no loss, that's a big win. Lucky I did a backup the night before *winning* :-D

 A little bit less pics this time, why? not because I don't like you anymore ^^
But just because it's impossible for me to post more pics without spoiling you big time.
Hope you'll still enjoy them.

    The big corruptor demon is a very good sign that's just what I want to see !
    Just hope he is not the only one and that the Devil and corrupted Zeliel or Hyperion (what a badass demon he would be) will have some to do. But I trust you !
    And I knew Emika wouldn't be the same after her time with Saga ^_^

      lol maybe there's nothing to show about those characters in these last 10%,
      or maybe the pics I showed you, are even more interesting. Who knows if those background characters are not getting more and more important..or maybe I'm just doing that to get out of the rehab...;-P

    Sorry if I sound strange but shouldn't your characters show some hair around their genital parts ?
    They're supposed to be people not porn actress so I think some should at least have a triangle of hair.

    Great that you've been able to recover all your files.
    Sad that you now have to sort through them ^_^
    Oh, and good job on not forgetting the secondary characters. I love Tethys and Letho but I'm quite happy to see that the others will be seen as well.

    After the corrupt Tethy was comming back from the Hell!
    Or after the Hell took Tethey and leave Saga dying back, so that A.. must give her daughter more power and her "live" back!
    Or it was the angel after they find the truth over Saga!
    and now Emika must find her:)

      Hard to say...
      I've started to really work on this chapter as from november, but I had a very very very busy December,January and February, so the pace I was going at so far, is not relevant. Tho' I don't know if it will ever calm down at work T_T
      and be able to render at a normal pace.

    Shinra, one of the things I like about your characters is when you dress them more modestly in order to hide their sexual features (such as the veil or full body coverings). It makes the corruption deeper when we see them later on. Any chance we see more characters like this? Also do you typically vary breast and ass size in your characters? It seems like to features you could use to create some uniqueness in them.

      I would say that I try to find a balance when it comes to their outfit, even if it's not always easy.
      Of course this comic is an utopia, where each and very character are good looking. Now, most of the times, I try to give them a unique vibe. None of them as the same body, even if I have a feeling for toned, round and small bum ^^

    First of all, Shinra, I wanna say that I'm a huge fan and really appreciate your work. I thought corruption would be a fairly common fetish, but it seems to be quite niche. A good corruption comic/doujin only comes a couple times a year, if even that. Quite a shame, really.

    I had a few general questions to ask, but I didn't know where to go so random comment to latest news post go.

    Given the situation, I think we're all fairly confident and expecting a bad ending (me included), but do you think you'll be making alternative endings to satisfy people on both sides (even if only a few want the good ending)? Personally I'd be happy with the bad ending, but I wouldn't mind reading more alternatives.

    I never really took an interest in this 3D art style until reading your comic, and now that I do have a taste for it, I've been checking out works of other artists. Do you plan on collaborating with anyone in the future or are you working on any right now?

    And speaking of my favorite artists, one of them is Vaesark. I love the pitch black skin of the drows as well as the fact he has more loli-type characters as well as normal girls. Do you think you'll ever add younger-looking girls to your works? I think the concept of innocence tied to this could be another dimension of corruption that could enhance a lot of your work.

    Yes, Corruption is the kind of adult content I affectionate the most, but I agree with you, There's sadly not enough good stuff out there >_<

    Whatever the ending will be, and to be honest, no it's not in my plan to create alternative endings. Why? would you ask me. Just because it takes time, time that I also have to allocate to other series and there's another big project coming after the end of Fallen Star.

    I'm collaborating right now with other artists, on other projects, but they're working on the story side rather than on the rendering part. But If I had to collaborate with another 3D artist in a near future, the only name I can think of, is that my buddy G9. Check out his blog on G9comics.blogspot.com if you haven't done it yet ;-)

    Yeah I know vaesark, and I'm also a fan.
    I've already thought about having younger character but it's a really sensitive subject.
    My next big project for instance, should, story-wise, have rather young character in it. But I really do hesitate with this, even if those characters are not involved in sexual act, it's still adult content material and some people could assimilate it to pedo-pornograpgy, which, you will undertsand, really don't want. Big debate.

      Somehow I got the feeling that if there would be one artist you'd collaborate with it would be G9. Your works are so similar. XD

      I also sorta imagined that was the issue with younger characters. There are countless other artists that do tread in this area, and the large majority of them seem to be fine (at least to my knowledge, I could be wrong). If one day you do decide to pursue this option, I'll be supporting you however I can along the way, and I'm sure many others will too.

      Shinra, since you referenced your next comic I thought I'd bring up a quick question. One of the biggest appeals for me is the good vs. evil battle that you portray. I was wondering if you would include demons, angels, nuns, etc. in your new series?

      If so, it would be neat to put a dose of history into it by talking about an ancient time where angels roamed amongst man and demons were banished and then contrasting that with the modern world where the angels only speak to a few chaste and uncorrupted virgin woman (like you did with mother superior in TFS) while the demons are all over earth and seek a way to bring the guardians back down to earth.

      The background would be that the angels left earth when humanity slowly became corrupted (In the olden days women dressed modestly, sex was a taboo, and ppl were devout but since the 1900's the TV, Internet, etc. has turned humans very evil) and because of this the demons have no link to take over the world of the guardians.

      This new serie will, of course, feature an epic and manichaean battle between the forces of Light Vs. those of Chaos.

      However, even if this serie will include some other kind of demons, other kind of angels, and other kinds of nuns, it won't happen at a modern era.
      This will be a new serie, with a brand new universe and not related with the Fallen Star ^^

    is the oracle part of the next story? and will you she corrupt in this one or is she to powerful to corrupt so that we must wait for the next one?

      Shinra's mention of Legion clearly means that Fallen Star and Legion are doing a crossover. Tethys will appear to aid the Legion against Vipra and Hexxia will come to join forces with Starlight. It's simple and exciting to see...

      Yes, I'd go with Anonymous. It's either that or her corrupted form will remind us of Vipra and/or Hexxia, I don't know... Legion is also the name of a specific group of demons in the Bible.

      Naptragichen's theory is interesting too though. Hell, I don't know, maybe Tethys will join Saga as a monster as well!

      Anyway, I'm so excited to see her final corrupted form, she's my favorite <3

      Tethys is my favorite Angel with Letho and I'd be kind of angry to see the same corruption twice successively.
      Also, if I remember right, I don't think it was really a hit the first time anyway.

      You do remember correctly. My work has been progressing slowly but surely. But between my work and working a masters degree, I lack free time for the most part. I'll finish the degree in the summer, so hopefully after that I will have more free time to work on my projects.

      It's actually interesting how you guys all follow the characters so much. As much as I love corruption and I love this series, for some reason I can never remember the character names. I don't even remember who Emeka and Tethys are LOL
