This year again has proven to be challenging... Hopefully 2022 has something better in stock for each and everyone of us.
The last chapter of TFS is still progressing in the shadows, slowly but steadily. I have embarked again on trying to make complicated scenes that take ages to render. Been doing that for 10 years now... I should know better ahaha. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics, there are quite a few for once :D

ReplyDeleteNo writer's block here, but rather a nasty computer going into flame T_T
ReplyDeleteFor a few weeks, my computer was crashing everytime I would be trying to render. Thought it was due to the fact that I was working on a very heavy scene, tried a million tricks until it started impacting my whole computer.
Couldn't figure out what was really wrong nor pinpoint the exact issue, tried the ram, CPU, GPU, the PSU, reinstalled bloody windows, until my CPU literraly died. Had to replace 80% of the computer, waited for ages to receive all the parts and....since my windows died too, had to reinstall aaaaaaaaaaaall my 3D resources and reorganised them, thousands of them...It's been "fun" and the whole incident took me a couple of months
to fix and be able to render again.
I've been rendering for a few weeks now, should have an update soon enough.

they say verinis is good, but personally I didn't like it. well ... there are NO more comics about corruption. everything else is either very small in terms of the number of images - or mediocre and without the author's imagination. There are only (shinra-kun , unemployed , verinis and everforever) .

(jackthemonkey - not about corruption, but about turning men into girls, Real-Deal + 3d is very small in size and relatively tasteless, fascinum finished his book of ive perfectly but didn’t continue it and went to his profile - incest comics because he too does not fit and is not at all the same as shirna) - your ideas?

ReplyDeleteThe good news is that I emailed Shinra not too long ago, and I have heard back from him, so he's alive! He informed me that while he has been busy managing work, he has been able to get a lot of rendering done lately. He's 250 pages into the final chapter so far.
The bad news is that his plan for the final chapter is a whopping 800 pages long, so it seems like unless he breaks up another chapter, we won't be seeing anything in a while.

As for me, I have decided to conclude his two main works in the form of a novel, because I do not have the art or the ability to do it in comic format. At least I'll give it an ending to be able to close these stories that I followed for years.
