Dammit this worldcup is gonna kill me, 4h of sleep by night since last week. I'm dead >_<
I'm spending my nights watching soccer and rendering of course ^^ At least, this is a good excuse to stay up that late. Who's watching? Who are you supporting?
Before jumping straight to the pictures, I first would like to dedicate this update to Pavelium2011, who, through his constant support, gave me the desire to over achieve.
I'm a tough one to crack, but thanks to him, I finally decided to toe the line. A great Man. Thank you!
More seriously, you may have noticed that, yes, I've been faster to produce these last 10%, but don't get too excited. It's mainly due to the fact that, this part of the story occurs in the same environment.
I therefore had less scenes to create.
I'm now up to 450 pages, 154 scenes rendered out of 189, and should soon start working on the last big part of this chapter.
If everything goes as planned (I should know by now that nothing ever goes as planned, so don't take following statement for granted ^^), we could see the end of the tunnel this summer.
In 2 weeks, I'll be a few days in China for work, then I''ll be on holidays for another 2 weeks.
I'll have my laptop with me, but still not sure if I'll be able to render anything during those weeks.
we'll see.
While I'm writing this post, I still haven't chosen the pics for the update, but this one could be a bit smaller than usual. As explained above, this update is mainly about one big scene, and I would not want to spoil too much showing a lot of pictures of the same scene >_<
I also wanted to let you know that I took good note of all the answers from the previous post, and will try to translate these, as best as I can, in my next comics.

I might have found something: the girl in pictures 4 and 7 is the same girl than the schoolgirl in pictures 6 and 9of the 70% update. I don't know who the the other schoolgirl is though. Am I right, Shinra? :)

The other person in picture 7 might as well be the same tortured girl in the altar we have seen in previous updates. The reason of my guess: the corruption marks are the same.

Another great update!! Excited to see the sudden surge in the progress bar. I guess I should also thank Pavelium2011, if he is the one who helped bring about this update. Great many things can definitely speculated about the pics. Is the first pic really starlight because like anonymous said above me, I thought she now had long hair with a red streak...

I saw the e-hentai post, I just hadn't read the comments. It all makes sense now. As for Spain, the team that showed up for the World Cup apparently left their A game back in Spain and very deservedly lost those initial matches... oh well... Still plenty of amazing games to be watched whether I support the teams or not.

ReplyDeleteI seriously do recommend you shorten these chapters up a bit. Just have different installments of a single chapter. Chapter 9: parts 1 2 and 3. It will also make it easier to upload in the end and we wont be so antsy waiting for one chapter to get done. Obviously if you at your first chapters they are but a fraction of what the later chapters have become.

DeleteAlternatively, you could start taking a Game of Thrones approach to things and section it off based on characters; where they have Tyrion 1, 2, 3 and so on, you could have Carla 5, 6, 7 and so on just to speed things along.

It takes a good year for a long comic like a fallen star, but the other smaller ones are usually done in a few months. So you probably don't have to wait too long again until Chapter 10.
