A quick post to relate a great news ^^
The 6th chapter of Fallen Star: Guardians has just entered the very popular Galleries of All-Time Top 100 on g.e-hentai.
To give you an idea, there's approximatively 185000 galleries on g.e-hentai so I think that's a pretty good score ^^
That's a little bit because of me ahahah...
But That's also a lot because of you all who are supporting my comics since the beginning so let me say a big thank you or I rather say let Starlight say a big...
And to celebrate...and because I really like this picture as well...another teaser shot from Fallen Star Ch.VII --> Let's aim for the top 50 ^_^

ReplyDeleteAlso, seeing that pic of Starlight from the start followed by the newest sighting is a strange mixture of sad and pants raising. It's even sadder when you realize she didn't even fall from temptation, she didn't have a chance

Euh yes it was a greeting pic and it's not part at all of the next comic but...the thing is I did not change their faces at all, they are both the same character ^^

an abdominal muscle less of the devil would be good for him and more on the chest and arms :) he need a little more muscle in comparison to his lower leg
But maybe it is the light in the corner that some things larger effect :)

in the last time you was more wörking on the other 2 project than on the F.S.
in the last months the % was moving every day 2-3 % but now it stops? why?
ok 11 % for the other 2 project in the last too weeks that is good but what is this the F.S.? why is this not moving?

DeleteBeen really busy at work lately so had a bit less of time to work on "any" project
+ you can't compare % on different project as they don't represent the same amount of work at all
+ that's not because the progress bar is not moving that work is not made on it. I count the percentage based on the number of pics remaining but again that's not because no pics is rendered that I'm not working on creating a scene or a character's outfit. Some bit are harder than others...;-)

guys i must say that Shinra is realy fast he was starting this project ( Harriet Cooper and The Fallen Star) on 08.04.2013 now he is in the 18 week. In the end of his work,( I hope in this week :) ), he has created 1176 picture.

ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I have been here! You've done some really nice work with the Yoru No Majin and H.C. and The Wizards Sacrifice.
I think Yoru No Majin is gonna be a great story, although the start was rather special (imho). H.C. and The Wizards Sacrifice looks really interesting, I'm curious what will happen next!
I wanted to say since I've been reading all the comments, it is kinda disturbing how many people ask the progress of your comic. So I had the next idea: "What if you make an extra progress bar which is called "Next Update" so that you don't waste time telling people at what % it is etc..., you just refer to the progress bar? It's just an idea ofcourse but I think everyone of us is anxious to see your new work, but it's really annoying that people keep asking about it...
All I can say is Shinra, you're doing a really great job, keep up the excellent work!

DeleteYes I can tell you that Yoru No Majin is gonna be one hell of an interesting story while trying to keep it special. Most of the story has already been outlined and I'm really looking forward to release the second chapter.
H.C will be quite interesting as well believe me...I know what's gonna happen next ;-) Different structure, different story telling but definitely entertaining
For your suggestion about the updates, I don't know...Most of the people know that I'm posting updates everytime a project hits 25, 50 or 75% but I reckon it's not really enough and maybe I should give some updates on a more regular basis, smaller updates but more often. The thing is I don't wanna spoil and I don't wanna post just for the sake of posting something...will try what's works the best ^^

DeleteNo just a mistake I did when I released the first chapter of Yoru No Majin...On the very last page of the comic, there was a dick flying in the middle of the picture which was coming from a previous scene
The best part is that nor me nor the other guy checking the comic before the release have actually seen it >_<
So I had to remove the pic from e-hentai and reupload the gallery again T_T
As long as the next chapter has lots of Carla, then I'll be happy.

DeleteHey buddy. One thing striking and unique about your comics is the notion that the demonic forces greatest prize is to corrupt the most pious and chaste women on earth (nuns). Have you ever considered going deeper into this battle of demons vs. nuns/burkas/other chaste women? like the all the people of faith from Earth fighting against an attack from below?

That certainly wasn't a nice incident (though it led to the birth of this blog), and I can only agree that it's a very tricky subject that is maybe better left untouched altogether.
DeleteThough your intentions are innocent, not everyone will be able to tolerate scenes like that if they're too narrow-minded. And we all know there are a lot of them out there...
Don't use a real religion. Use a fake one that is more along the lines of ancient Greece with pious vestal virgins instead of nuns. Basically get rid of the habit for a priestess gown.
DeleteMight be more cool to make the deity female and have her as the end goal for the demons.
But isn't part of it a play on the existing struggle between woman who cover themselves up and the devil who is trying to get them to fall into their primal urges? That is more or less a cornerstone of our world's views on what the devil's purpose is...temptation. Donning the habit (or other garments to cover hair/face/body) is a representation of the purity and fight against the devil and his attempts to sexualize the world. i.e. If the devil had his way all woman would be in bikini's and g-strings
DeleteThat is all completely correct, and with that in mind, everything is explainable and defendable, even more because it's just a comic. We shouldn't give it more value than it deserves.
DeleteBut still, despite all that, there are subjects to feature in a comic that can be rude or shocking to people. I'm sure most of Shinra's readers will have no problem with these matters at all, but I'm also sure there are some people who have been offended by the contents of chapter 5.
Make no mistake: Kimy/Lilith's actions were perfectly in character, it suited the story. But still, it is very imaginable that it was also unnecessary kicking to something very important in some people's lives.
And that leaves the question if it's all worth it.
Shinra is trying to entertain; not trying to offend.
I'm not saying I discourage him making the comics he wants to make, but it's safer to dodge certain subjects if that means he can still make the same comic, but removes the risk of offending.
